Fresh Appletinis

Surprise! I made another cocktail recipe!

When Superfresh Growers asked me to make a fun, Valentine’s Day dessert recipe with my all-time fav apples, Autumn Glory, I said, “I don’t really do desserts but I can definitely do a cocktail.”

Listen, if you want a dessert recipe, head over to Chocolate Covered Katie. She has tons of good ones! But I’ve got your V-Day cocktails on deck.

We ALL know the Appletini. It’s on every TGIFriday menu in America and I’m pretty sure it was the first martini I ever ordered when I was 21.

But here’s the thing about most appletinis: there’s no apple in them. Instead, they’re made with a nasty green apple liqueur that is loaded with sugar and artificial flavorings. We’re better than that.

But it’s Valentine’s (or, more importantly, Galentine’s). You want a fun cocktail! Have no fear, your skinny cocktail fairy is here. And she made you an appletini with REAL apples.

One more note I’ll make about these - the apples won’t be totally juiced. You can obviously strain them if you want, but I personally like them as adult applesauce.

Cheers!
